Our client, a prominent health insurance company, is currently seeking a UX Designer (Intermediate) for an 8 to 12 month contract opportunity. The position is located in El Dorado Hills, CA. *Candidate must be Local to work onsite. Sponsorships are NOT available. The ideal candidate should have an eye for simple design, the desire to further their craft in UI/UX design, and the ability to translate high-level requirements and UX strategies into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. This person will collaborate with our senior UX/UI Designers and Sr. UX Manager to develop innovative solutions to tough healthcare questions that impact millions of users. Our ideal teammate will create visuals and UI experiences, journey maps, user flows, persona work, interactive prototypes, wireframes, execute all visual design stages from concept to final dev hand-off, and conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Responsibilities Work with senior UX designers to understand goals and develop personas and user scenarios Execute all UX design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Flush out design concepts into design artifacts that are ready for development Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders Follow and promote company design guidelines, best practices and standards The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree (preferred) coupled with 2+ years experience in UX Design. Should hold strong command of Adobe CS, Wireframing, Interactive Prototyping skills (Axure/InVision etc) and Sketch (preferred). Should be well versed with User Research/Usability Testing, Journey Maps, User Flows, Brand Standards / Style Guide / Standards Creation with previous experience supporting desktop and responsive mobile & web applications.
